The Paintball Club at Virginia Tech is a coed registered student organization at Virginia Tech University and official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to introduce Virginia Tech students to the exhilarating world of paintball and ignite a passion for the sport. We strive to cultivate a competitive, tight-knit team environment that empowers our members to learn, grow, and excel in paintball.
No experience is necessary! We welcome all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players.
We offer various styles, including recreational paintball and competitive X-ball for new, thrilling, adrenaline-pumping, and refreshing experiences.
For recreational paintball: jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodies, tennis shoes, and hiking boots are all good items to wear.
For speedball: Wear loose-fitted sweatpants, long-sleeve shirts, and any non-metal spiked cleats.
Paint washes off and doesn’t stain, but you may get muddy!
We typically play weekly according to Virginia Tech’s academic calendar. Both recreational paintball and competitive practice is held every week. Recreational paintball alternates every weekend between Saturday and Sunday.
